Phelps Connections for Seniors Speed Puzzling Competition

**UPDATE: It’s come to my attention that this puzzle competition scheduled for Saturday, September 26th overlaps the amazing Celebration of Nations festivities that so many of us look forward to each year. This was an oversight on my part, and I do want to extend an invitation to those who wanted to puzzle that day but have other commitments or want to also participate in Celebration of Nations, to complete your competition puzzle in advance of the scheduled event times next Saturday. Please let me know if you wanted to sign up for solo, pairs, and/or the 4 person teams round (and have a full team to do it with) but would like to schedule a time with me to complete it in advance due to this conflict. I’ll keep things fair and will ask that you do as well by not sharing the puzzle details with others after your scheduled run of the puzzle(s) and you can still be eligible for prizes if your pre-recorded time with me ranks at the top of the group. Tickets will still need to be purchased in advance of the supervised run in order to be eligible for prizes. 

I will also note that an average four person team can typically complete a 500 piece puzzle in around an hour, so there is potential to compete on Saturday and still be done in time to make it to the parade at 11 am.**

Bring your friends and family to come enjoy a day of competitive jigsaw puzzling with us at Phelps Connections for Seniors on Saturday, September 26th!  We will have multiple rounds of competition, and you can compete in more than one.  Winners in each round will receive some great prizes.

There will also be some amazing door prizes and a raffle to win one of our fun 2000+ piece puzzles!

Ticket prices for each event:

$60 for a team of 4 (four) people or $15 for an individual ticket for the family/teams competition. Each team will work together to complete one 500 piece puzzle in 90 minutes. At least one team member must be 18 or older. Individual ticket holders will be matched up to complete teams of 4 as needed. Every individual on the winning team(s) will receive a prize.

$40 for a pair or $20 per ticket, to compete in the Pairs round (teams of 2 people). Each pair will have 90 minutes to complete a 300 piece puzzle. At least one team member must be 18 or older. Individual ticket holders will be matched up to complete pairs of 2 as needed. Every individual on the winning pair(s) will receive a prize.

$30 per person for a ticket to compete in the solo competition. Each individual will have 90 minutes to complete a 300 piece puzzle. Solo competitors must be 12 or older. Winner(s) will receive a fabulous prize!
